AGENDA
1. Apologies for absence
Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 requires members who cannot attend a meeting to tender apologies to the Clerk.
2. Declarations of members’ interests in items on the agenda
To receive any pecuniary or non-pecuniary declarations of interest and confirmation of any relevant dispensations.
i) Under the Localism Act 2011 (sections 26-37 and Schedule 4) and in accordance with the Council’s Code of Conduct, Members are required to declare any interests which are not currently entered in the Member’s Register of Interests or if he/she has not notified the Monitoring Officer (Clerk) of it.
ii) Should any Member have a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest in an item on the agenda, the Member may not participate in consideration of that item unless a Dispensation has first been requested (in writing) and granted by the Council.

AGENDA ITEM 3
Delegated Action
Members are asked to NOTE that there have been no delegated actions by the Chairman of committee and the clerk since the last committee meeting in September.
AGENDA ITEM 4
Cemeteries
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has been in touch with Find a Grave and will begin uploading the memorial data to their website shortly with a link from our website. Find a Grave was started in 1995, is now owned by Ancestry and is free to register.
Altona Road Cemetery
Members are asked to NOTE that 6 crab apple trees and holly have been ordered and the deputy clerk has been in contact with the person who wishes to fund one of the trees in honour of Cllr Bob Kin.
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has written an article for the newsletter to see if anyone might be interested in dedicating a bench to a loved one. If no one comes forward, quotes will be brought to a future meeting.
Hammersley Lane Cemetery
Members are asked to NOTE that our Grounds Team reported that the small flint wall is in need of repair and quotes will be brought to the next meeting.

War Memorials
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has been in touch with War Memorials Trust regarding a possible grant towards the cleaning of the Flackwell Heath War Memorial and is awaiting a reply. Cleaning of the Loudwater War Memorial would not be eligible for a grant because all the inscriptions are still legible.
Loudwater War Memorial
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has contacted the LAT to arrange a meeting to discuss installing bollards to prevent motorists from parking on the kerb.
Members are asked to CONSIDER a number of possible types of bollards. APPENDIX A
AGENDA ITEM 6
Royal Mail bag drop boxes
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has written a letter of thanks to RoyalMail for the removal of the bag drop boxes.
AGENDA ITEM 7
BT cabinets
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has requested that the two cabinets (one on the corner of Hedley Rd and Chapman Lane FH and one on the junction of Swains Lane and Fennels Farm Way FH) be removed or painted.
Members are asked to NOTE that a resident of Tylers Green has requested that some of the BT cabinets in Tylers Green be painted. Loudwater and Tylers Green councillors are asked to please provide the deputy clerk with a list of cabinets to be painted.

LED Footway Lighting
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has been in contact with our lighting contractor and will be providing them with a purchase order and list of the lamp columns to be tested.
AGENDA ITEM 9
Parish Litter Scheme
Members are asked to NOTE that we have a new litter picker in Flackwell Heath. His route is to include Fennels Wood, Oakwood, the field behind Oakwood and the footpath between St Birinus and Buckingham Way.
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE a donation of £50 to Stan Stepniewski’s chosen charity for the litter picking that he carries out in Flackwell Heath.

Bus Shelters
Members are asked to NOTE that the deputy clerk has contacted Carousel buses for passenger numbers for the bus stop opposite Rugwood in Heath End Road. Proposals for a bus shelter at this site were first discussed by council in 2019.

CPR and defibrillator training
Members are asked to NOTE that training has been arranged over 2 days for 34 people, including those from FH Bowls Club and Minors Football Club.

Members are asked to NOTE the committee’s income and expenditure to Period 6 (September). APPENDIX B

Members are also asked to CONSIDER and REVIEW the attached draft budget. APPENDIX C

AGENDA ITEM 14
Questions from committee members and the public
A maximum of fifteen minutes will be given to members of the public, who may make representations, ask and answer questions and/or give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. If the chairman of the meeting agrees, representations and questions may be taken at the beginning of the meeting. Members of the public wishing to speak at the beginning of the meeting should inform the clerk of this request as soon as possible.
